HEALTHTRACKA SHARE HOW THEY USED TIPS FROM WIMBART OFFICE HOURS TO TELL THEIR INCREDIBLE STORY

I joined Wimbart Office Hours a few months after launching Healthtracka. I was green about the startup life and wanted to understand how to navigate media and PR. I learned that this program is not just theories and principles but practical exposure to attracting the kind of attention early-stage startups need. Not only did we get so much great information from the program (especially the webinars with the experts), a few weeks into the program, we got prospective investors asking to speak to us. We also had our first media interview while still in the program, which the Wimbart team supported us with, on how to engage with the journalists.

To be in the news, do things that are newsworthy. Build great relationships with the media even before you need them. Be intentional about your story.

The office hours with my mentor was so good, it was almost like a therapy session, lol. I looked forward to our conversations and goal tracking.

To other startups, I want to share that I learned that existing as a startup alone is not news. To be in the news, do things that are newsworthy. Build great relationships with the media even before you need them. Be intentional about your story.

I think the Office Hours program is great, and would love to see a collective alumni Office Hours community, coming together to share ideas and support each other. For the incoming batch, I will tell you this – squeeze out as much value as you can from the program. Attend lectures, ask for intros, work towards your goals, take your office hours seriously. You will be glad you did.
