Wimbart Office Hours
We’re launching Wimbart Office Hours – a PR mentorship programme designed to equip early stage start-ups with the knowledge and skills needed to frame the narrative surrounding their start-up from the beginning, with tips on executing a successful communications plan, building relationships with journalists and how to amplify press coverage.
20 early stage Africa focused start-ups will be selected by the Wimbart team to participate in the inaugural Wimbart Office Hours cohort. Successful applicants will be invited to a one hour webinar that introduces tech start-ups to Public Relations and communications strategies, followed by one-on-one office hours sessions where each company can deep dive into communications challenges and questions that are specific to their business needs, to help better position them to attract customers, investment and talent. The programme is entirely free, and the webinar will be led by Wimbart Founder and Managing Director, Jessica Hope, with the follow-on office hours sessions hosted by senior members of the Wimbart team.
If you are an African tech start-up building a great product or service, and want to give yourself the best chance for success by honing your communications skills, this is the programme to apply for! We want you to complete the programme with a better understanding of how PR can work for your company, and how you can use communications to build your brand presence as you scale your company.
